Daylight Robbery

I'm sharing here my experience I had on my recent train journey.

The people who serve coffee, tea, soups in the train belong to the contractors, who have been authorized for this particular train. They are the people who do not care or fear about anything. Here is the instance to prove that.

On the trains, the servers of coffee & tea are supposed to serve 150ml of coffee/tea (There will be a mark in the glass/cup in which they serve) to the customers/passengers, of which they serve only 120ml or even less. The passengers who travel on these trains never dare to question them in spite of knowing this. This makes the job of these servers even more easier.

I dared to ask one of these servers to serve exactly as per the norms, the server first denied but later gave me the exact quantity because I asked him in a raised voice. After this incident, the server served the other passengers the same old quantity. In spite of watching this entire episode, none of the co-passengers questioned him. This incident has really put me in concern.

I think this is surely a "Daylight robbery" on the trains & we need to blame each one of us for this. So it is time for all of us to start questioning all such acts, so that it will make them realize that they are not doing the right thing.

Please remember we are in the world's biggest democracy.

Yeah! My friend i agree with you, most of us have been in a situation like this before am sure.

I really appreciate that you made your point in front of the public in the train, i guess you also got the picture as to why this sort of things happen in the first place. i.e. nobody around you had guts to question those A@#H@##s.

Its not the responsibility of single person to fight against crime, the so called society that we live in must fight against.

Till then we are always on the receiving end...
